From the article: Reasons to Stay Active
Researchers and health care professionals emphasize the importance of staying physically active. With regular physical activity, you can reduce pain associated with arthritis, improve balance, improve mobility, improve your energy level, and improve strength.

Knowing that, why is it a problem to stay physically active? Is it a time issue - you can't find the time? Are most activities beyond your limitations? Or, don't you believe regular activity is that beneficial? What holds you back?

Because it's painful

I thought it would be obvious - because it's painful. I try doing knee exercises and it only leaves me in further pain. Others may feel benefit but I definitely don't.
